Cartrack to help find missing children in SA
22 September 2015
Known for its Stolen Vehicle Recovery technology that includes a full telematics service as well as Fleet Management services, Cartrack has taken another step in its corporate responsibility initiatives.
Cartrack is proud to announce its support of the Missing Children South Africa (SA) organisation – which illustrates the commitment of the company to looking after what’s most important to you. “The reality of the rate of missing persons in our country hits home for everyone, as statistics by the South African Police Services reveal that a child goes missing every five hours in our country,” says Cartrack Marketing and Communications Manager, Jacqui Marsh.
We each have a responsibility to do our bit to protect our little ones who rely on us the most. Thanks to the power of social media, information about missing children can be distributed immediately, increasing the chances of finding them.
“We are encouraging the public to get involved with the campaign to help reunite missing children with their families, by following Cartrack on Facebook and sharing the missing posts,” Jacqui adds.
Cartrack will be supporting Missing Children SA financially, allowing the organisation to increase its capacity to provide this vital service to South Africans.
“It’s with the assistance of corporate South Africa and organisations like Cartrack that Missing Children SA is able to achieve its goals. Our children are the future leaders of South Africa and it’s important to create safe environments for them,” says Nico Panagio, Missing Children SA’s Chairman.
